Classic Optimum is a non-sterile secondary absorbent dressing that is 3.5x11 inches (10x28cm) without the adhesive strip. The product can hold more then 250ml of fluid wicked to the core of the product leaving it feeling dry to the touch and preventing skin breakdown. The Optimum can be cut-to-fit (put a piece of fabric tape over the cut edge so the polymer beads don't fall out). As this is a secondary absorbent product, another product must be in direct contact with the wound bed such as gauze or adaptic, etc.  For the sterile version of this product, please see the Classic SteriSorb Optimum #S310057.
